Joining us will be those on the ground from four current struggles that have open calls for action: \n– The Minnesota 15 Anti-Repression Committee\, who are calling for an international day of solidarity actions on Saturday\, October 3\, to express support for the fifteen defendants who have been federally charged for allegedly conspiring to resist the violence of ICE; \n– The National Week of Action to SHUT DOWN ICE VT from October 4-9 in Chittenden County\, Vermont – ICE operations across the nation are dependent on the surveillance infrastructure in Vermont – this week of mass action aims to SHUT this nerve center DOWN; \n– Activists who have been on the ground in Lochiel\, Arizona where a treesit and anti-border camp have been blocking the construction of the border wall for over two months. Lochiel is one site of struggle along a 2000-mile contested border and our neighbors there are calling everyone to join them in the struggle of direct action and land defense; \n– Activists from Dare to Struggle in Austin\, Texas\, resisting and responding to the shooting of Wilber Rafael Garcés Pérez by an ICE agent on Sunday\, September 20th. \nIt is critical we connect and network our local struggles throughout the country to apply heat on ICE this October.
