Affordability is the buzz word of the year, but the health care affordability crisis is nothing new for health care providers and patients. According to United States of Care’s recently polling, 71% of U.S adults say health care costs are unaffordable and nearly half experienced at least one financial pressure due to a medical bill in the past two years. Join the Committee to Protect Health Care and United States of Care for a briefing on the role unchecked consolidation, unfair hospital pricing practices, and corporatization are playing in driving up health care costs — and what we can do about it.
