As organizers and activists supporting one another through education and training, small networking events, craftivism, coalition meetings, large protests, rapid response, we have found at CT 50501 that it is difficult to keep track of the various events and programming offered by and with our grassroots partners and coalition members.
And so we build the tool we need to remove barriers to access the events and community across the range of organizations in Connecticut. There are larger calendars–Mobilize and Action Network–that work for larger organizations with funding. This calendar is local. This calendar is public. This calendar is to keep the organizers organized.
This is not a registration calendar; please add your website or registration link with your event.

Select the applicable categories from the list. You can select multiple. If you think that a new category should be created, email librarian @ ct50501.com after submitting your event.

If your event location is not in the list and is open to the public, please create and add yours. This will enable maps to populate.

CT 50501 is a 501(c)4, so in addition to our organization’s mandatory non-violence policy, there are certain laws and regulations that we must follow. We can only publish events to the Community Calendar if those events agree to the following terms. You will be required to agree in order to hit the submit button.A. Absolute Non-Violence: We will not approve any submissions advocating for violence, physical force, or the threat of force – which is strictly prohibited at any events that are advertised on this platform.
B. Legal Compliance: Submissions selected for approval must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, specifically those pertaining to serious criminal offenses (e.g., assault, battery, theft, destruction of property, hate crimes). The administrators of this platform explicitly disavow and prohibit these actions.
C. Political Campaign Activity Intervention: We will not approve any events which involve political campaigns, including the support or opposition of any candidate for public office. While we strongly encourage political advocacy and Democratic participation, we are not able to advertise events of that nature on this platform.
CT 50501 is comprised of passionate people who believe in non-violent organizing to support democracy through power of community defense, legislative pressure, protests, collective action, mutual aid, coalition building, and uplifting those who are less privileged. More
